Bates & Co was invited to attend Hailsham Community Collage’s carer day along with other well respected local businesses, the army and representatives from the teaching profession.

Ian from Bates & Co comments “It was a pleasure to be invited and visit the school. We tried to make the day and our stand as interesting as possible by posing a very real problem and question to children that attended”. Bates and Co are considered the most forward thinking and progressive local estate and letting agent and their dilemma was over a new advertising campaign offering local residents a special rate for selling their home.

So what was the question you posed?

“We are currently offering a discount on our rate but wanted to ensure the message was clear and would attract interest. We asked over 50 local students to look at the advertising campaign and then vote on their preferred one. The winner of which we are rolling out this very week”

What is the current offer?

“Our rate will be discounted by £1500 depending on the value of your current home allowing you to use this money for either solicitor fees or removal costs or whatever you wish.”

“The students were a great help and we will feed back to the school on the success of the campaign.”
